The cheapest by the litre is Stella Artois Alcohol Free in a 10-pack: £9.75, or £7.50 with Clubcard (£1.70 a litre). Tesco doesn’t sell an own-brand alcohol-free beer, and 22 of its 34 are 0.0%.
Links to the supermarkets are ordinary links: we earn nothing from them. Links to Dry Drinker and Wise Bartender are affiliate links, so if you buy through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. How we make money.
Tesco has one of the biggest alcohol-free beer ranges on the high street, and some of the best beers we’ve reviewed are on it. Athletic Brewing, Lucky Saint and Beavertown sit next to Guinness 0.0 and the big-name lagers, so you can do a lot better than whatever’s stacked at the end of the aisle.
We went through every alcohol-free beer on tesco.com on 9 October 2026 and matched each one to our reviews. Start with the picks; the full list, with prices for every pack size, comes after.

Best alcohol-free beer at Tesco
£5 4 × 355ml £3.52 a litre
Pine resin, grapefruit and lemon zest, with more bite than most alcohol-free IPAs. It smells and drinks like a proper craft IPA.

Best lager
£6.25 4 × 330ml £4.74 a litre
Hazy pale gold, bready malt and a clean, dry finish, with more body than most alcohol-free lagers. Our top-scoring lager, and the one to buy if you only buy one.
£5 with Clubcard until 2 November.

Best hazy IPA
£6.25 4 × 330ml £4.74 a litre
Soft, juicy and tropical, with gentle bitterness. The easy-drinking IPA for anyone who finds most IPAs too bitter.
£5 with Clubcard until 2 November. On 25 September Lucky Saint recalled one batch of Hazy IPA four-packs bought in Tesco and Sainsbury’s stores (best before 13/08/2027, timestamp 20:50 to 22:30). If you have some, check Lucky Saint’s recall notice.

Best stout
£4.99 4 × 440ml £2.84 a litre
It looks exactly like Guinness in the glass, with the same roasted barley, dry coffee and creamy head. A touch lighter in body than the real thing, so serve it cold.

Best pale ale
£1.65 500ml £3.30 a litre
Citra hops give grapefruit and lemon over a clean malt base, and it finishes dry. The pale ale to pick for a proper pint with fish and chips.
Clubcard any 4 for 3 on 500ml bottles until 28 February 2027: mix them and the cheapest is free.

Best wheat beer
£2.10 500ml £4.20 a litre
A proper German wheat beer: hazy gold, banana and clove, soft and full-bodied. Pour it into a tall glass with a good head.
Clubcard any 4 for 3 on 500ml bottles until 28 February 2027: mix them and the cheapest is free.
Also worth a look at Tesco: Beavertown Lazer Crush (8.5), Lucky Saint Superior Lemon Lager (8.4) and Days Lager (7.8).
Stella Artois Alcohol Free in the ten-can pack is the cheapest alcohol-free beer at Tesco: £9.75 for ten 440ml cans, £2.22 a litre, and £7.50 with Clubcard until 2 November, which brings it down to £1.70. For a cheap beer we rate, Guinness 0.0 is £4.99 a four-pack, price-matched to Aldi, or £12 for ten.

22 of the 34 alcohol-free beers at Tesco are 0.0%. The best of them is Guinness 0.0 (8.1), and the 0.0% lager we rate highest is Days Lager (7.8). Most craft alcohol-free beer, Lucky Saint included, is up to 0.5%, so check the strength column in the table if it matters to you. 0.0% vs 0.5%: what’s the difference? explains it, and our best 0.0% beers ranks the field. Tesco’s range stops at 0.5%, apart from Shandy Carib Sorrel at 0.9%.
Clubcard Prices on alcohol-free beer run until 2 November 2026 (Daura Damm’s ends on 26 October). Some of the best:
Two things to know before you check out. Tesco says alcohol prices vary by region, so sign in to see the price for your postcode. And a few listings, including a 12-pack of Punk AF, Jiddler’s Tipple and Budvar Nealko, come from Tesco Marketplace sellers: they’re sent separately by courier, and Clubcard vouchers don’t apply to them, so we’ve left them out of the list above.
Tesco covers the big names well. But some of the best alcohol-free beers we’ve reviewed aren’t sold in any supermarket we checked: you’ll find them at the specialist shops, which deliver across the UK and let you mix your own case. These four were in stock on 9 October.

Pillowy and soft, with huge mango, papaya and passion fruit and a gentle bitter finish. Order it from Dry Drinker.

Coffee, dark chocolate and sweet cream, full-bodied and velvety. Sweeter and creamier than Guinness 0.0.

A hazy Danish IPA with ripe mango, citrus and floral hops and a silky body, at 0.3%.

A juicy, hoppy Australian pale ale: tropical fruit, soft haze and a dry finish.
Yes. On 9 October 2026 tesco.com listed 34 alcohol-free beers for delivery or click and collect, from Heineken 0.0 and Guinness 0.0 to Athletic Brewing, Lucky Saint and Beavertown. 22 of them are 0.0%.
Athletic Brewing Run Wild IPA, which scores 8.8 in Unhopped’s reviews, is the best alcohol-free beer Tesco sells. The best lager is Lucky Saint Unfiltered (8.7) and the best stout is Guinness 0.0 (8.1).
Stella Artois Alcohol Free in a pack of ten 440ml cans: £9.75, or £7.50 with Clubcard until 2 November, which is £1.70 a litre. Bavaria 0.0 is £4 for four 440ml cans.
No. Tesco doesn’t sell an own-label alcohol-free beer at the moment. Aldi, Lidl and M&S do: our supermarket guide covers them.
Almost all of Tesco’s range is 0.5% or under. The exception we found is Shandy Carib Sorrel at 0.9%, which Tesco sells in its World Foods aisle. For the difference between alcohol-free and low alcohol, read alcohol-free vs low alcohol.
Yes: Lucky Saint Unfiltered Lager, Hazy IPA and Superior Lemon Lager in four-packs (£6.25, or £5 with Clubcard until 2 November), plus Lucky Saint Weissbier in 500ml bottles.
Tesco is one of the best supermarkets for alcohol-free beer. Put Athletic Brewing Run Wild and Lucky Saint Unfiltered in the trolley, add Guinness 0.0 if you like a stout, and use your Clubcard: Lucky Saint and Lazer Crush four-packs are £5 until 2 November.
For the beers Tesco doesn’t stock, a mixed case from a specialist is the easiest way to try them.

How we checked. We read every alcohol-free beer listed on tesco.com on 9 October 2026, including the ones Tesco shelves outside its alcohol-free aisle, and left out Marketplace items sold by other sellers. Prices are Tesco’s online prices that day; in-store prices and offers can differ. Scores come from Unhopped’s own reviews. Spotted a change? Tell us.
