The best alcohol-free beer we found at Asda is Lucky Saint Unfiltered Lager (8.7 in our reviews), £2.40 for 500ml. For a stout, Guinness 0.0 (8.1) is £5.44 for four 440ml cans.
The cheapest by the litre is Stella Artois Alcohol Free: £8.56 for ten 440ml cans (£1.95 a litre). We didn’t find an Asda own-brand alcohol-free beer, and 9 of the 16 are 0.0%.

Asda is the place for cheap singles and big-brand lagers. Of Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Asda, it had the lowest shelf prices on 500ml bottles of Erdinger, Adnams Ghost Ship and St Austell Proper Job, and on a ten-pack of Stella Artois Alcohol Free.

Hazy pale gold, bready malt and a clean, dry finish, with more body than almost any alcohol-free lager. Our top-scoring lager, and the one to buy if you only buy one.
It looks exactly like Guinness in the glass, with the same roasted barley, dry coffee and creamy head. A touch lighter in body than the real thing, so serve it cold.
Stella Artois Alcohol Free in the ten-can pack is the cheapest alcohol-free beer we found at Asda: £8.56 for ten 440ml cans, £1.95 a litre. Bavaria 0.0 (£5.46 for eight 330ml) and Beck’s Blue (£9 for fifteen 275ml) are next. Corona Cero is on Rollback at £10 for twelve, down from £13.
