We’re about to launch the Unhopped app — and to celebrate, we’re giving away a Dry Drinker Discovery Box of eight brilliant alcohol-free beers. Register your interest and you’ll be first to know when the Taste Challenge opens.

Cutting down should be a laugh, not a lecture — and our new app is built on exactly that idea. It rates your palate, hands you your own taste archetype, and helps you find alcohol-free beers you’ll actually love. Why the app?

Because the whole point is to find your beer, not a generic one. The free Unhopped app rates your palate across bitterness, citrus, sweetness, malt and body, then hands you a taste archetype — The Hop Chaser, The Smooth Operator, whoever you turn out to be. It’s genuinely useful beyond the competition, and it’s the fairest way to make this about taste. Download links are on the home page.

The prize

One winner takes a Dry Drinker Discovery Box (worth around £21.50) — eight alcohol-free beers chosen to span styles, so you’ll discover something new whatever your archetype. We’ll pick the entry with the best tie-breaker answer after entries close, and let the winner know by email. Register your interest above and we’ll tell you the exact dates when the app goes live.

The rules, briefly

Free to enter, UK residents aged 18 or over, one entry per person (plus one bonus for newsletter sign-up). Winner chosen on the merit of the tie-breaker answer — it’s a competition of skill, not a prize draw. There’ll be a no-app free entry route too.
