What does ‘gluten-free’ mean on a UK beer label?
In the UK, a beer can only be labelled gluten-free if it contains less than 20 parts per million (ppm) of gluten. Some brewers go further: Jump Ship, for example, has every batch tested by a third party and aims for below 10 ppm. Status can change with recipes, so the label on the can is always the final word.
Is there a gluten-free alcohol-free lager?
