How UNLTD makes it — and the facts
The thing that sets UNLTD apart is how the beer is made. Rather than brewing a full-strength beer and then stripping the alcohol out — the common method, which tends to strip out aroma and body too — UNLTD brews it alcohol-free from the very start. As founder Johnny Johnson told us, “when you strip alcohol out of a finished beer you take a lot of the aroma and body with it, and then you’re in the business of adding things back to cover the gap. What goes in our can is what came out of the brew.” For the IPA, it delivers a hop-forward pint at just 23 calories a can — among the lowest of any alcohol-free beer in the UK.
