The best alcohol-free IPAs in 2026 are not pale imitations of their full-strength counterparts. They are exceptional beers in their own right.

Hazy IPAs are soft, juicy and tropical — low bitterness, high aroma. West coast IPAs are drier, more bitter and resinous. Session IPAs are lighter in body and lower in calories while still delivering hop character. We have included all three styles in this list so there is something for every IPA drinker.

The hazy IPA that converted a generation of sceptics. Holy Faith is juicy, tropical and soft — mango and passionfruit on the nose, a smooth creamy body and a satisfying finish. Leeds-based Northern Monk have become one of the most respected NA breweries in the UK, and this is the beer that earned them that reputation.

Best for: Hazy IPA fans, Friday nights, those new to NA craft beer.

The beer that arguably kickstarted the modern NA craft beer revolution. Athletic Brewing built their entire brewery around alcohol-free, and Run Wild is their masterpiece. Clean citrus and pine hops, a dry bitter finish, proper mouthfeel. The benchmark against which all other NA IPAs are measured.

Best for: IPA purists, anyone starting their NA journey.

Athletic's second appearance on this list is thoroughly deserved. Free Wave is their hazy showcase — soft, juicy and tropical with mango, passionfruit and citrus zest. If Run Wild is the classic, Free Wave is the crowd-pleaser. Both deserve a permanent place in your fridge.

Best for: Tropical fruit lovers, hazy fans, warm weather drinking.

Northern Monk's west coast-influenced IPA is drier and more bitter than Holy Faith — resinous hops, clean assertive bitterness, long dry finish. If you prefer your IPAs with proper bite rather than tropical softness, Beyond is your beer. Northern Monk appear twice on this list because they genuinely are that good.

Best for: West coast IPA fans, those who like proper bitterness.

One of the UK's most beloved craft breweries proves they can do NA just as well. Lazer Crush delivers tropical citrus hops and clean bitterness. Widely available in supermarkets, which makes it the most accessible quality NA IPA in the country.

Best for: Everyday drinking, supermarket convenience.

Norwegian brewery Lervig have built one of the most impressive NA ranges in Europe. The Grapefruit IPA is vibrant and refreshing — fresh grapefruit zest, citrusy hops and a clean bitter finish.

Best for: Citrus lovers, summer drinking.

Brulo's flagship is double dry-hopped with Simcoe, Citra and Mosaic, and Brulo promises “a ripe, juicy character of mango, peach and pine”. It won two gold stars at the Great Taste Awards 2026. If you like it, try Brulo's 7 Hop 7 Grain next, which uses seven hops; we haven't scored it yet.

Best for: Hop fanatics, those who want maximum aroma.

The classic from Lervig's No Worries range — a well-balanced, clean IPA with citrus hops and a satisfying bitter finish. Less showy than the Grapefruit version but arguably more versatile as an everyday drinker. Lervig's consistency across their NA range is remarkable.

Best for: Everyday IPA drinking, those who want balance over intensity.

Swansea's Drop Bear brews a West Coast-style IPA with “the very best of US hops”, and sums it up as “hoppy, tropical, punchy”. At 15 kcal per 100ml it's one of the lighter IPAs we list, and it's vegan and labelled gluten-free.
