The story behind Ambar 0.0 Tostada
A toasted-amber alcohol-free beer is a rarity anywhere — and it takes a brewery like Ambar to make one. La Zaragozana has brewed in Zaragoza’s San José district since 1900, still runs the only open-vat fermentation room in Spain, and launched the country’s first alcohol-free beer in 1976; the Tostada puts that malt-forward house craft into a 0.0.
Expect toasted cereal, caramel depth and a rounded finish — a genuinely different proposition from the pale zeros that dominate the shelf, and a cousin of Estrella Levante’s Tostada in Spain’s distinctive toasted tradition.
