The story behind Ghost Czech Pils

We Can Be Friends is the UK’s collaboration-powered alcohol-free specialist: founded by Sam Ray with the stated aim of brewing the best alcohol-free beer in the world, it develops its 0.5% beers with some of Britain’s highest-rated craft breweries — Mash Gang, Track, Overtone and Vault City among them.

Ghost Czech Pils is its take on the world’s most technically unforgiving style: Czech-inspired pilsner, where there’s nowhere for flaws to hide. Soft, snappy and properly bitter, it’s a confident answer to the hardest exam in brewing.

Serve very cold in a tall glass with fried anything — the Czech way. Its mythological stablemates Zeus and Hades complete the trio; the model is explained on our We Can Be Friends hub.

Frequently asked questions

How many calories are in We Can Be Friends Ghost Czech Pils?
We couldn’t find a published calorie figure for We Can Be Friends Ghost Czech Pils, either from We Can Be Friends or on a retailer’s nutrition label, when we checked in October 2026, so we don’t quote one. Alcohol-free lagers with a published figure range from 4 to 31 kcal per 100ml in our calorie comparison tool.
Is We Can Be Friends Ghost Czech Pils really alcohol-free at 0.5%?
We Can Be Friends Ghost Czech Pils is 0.5% ABV. UK government guidance (which is voluntary) reserves 'alcohol-free' for 0.05% or below, so technically that's low alcohol, or de-alcoholised if the alcohol was removed after brewing — though 0.5% is comparable to the trace alcohol found naturally in ripe fruit or fresh orange juice. We explain the difference in our 0.0% vs 0.5% guide.
Where can I buy We Can Be Friends Ghost Czech Pils in the UK?
We Can Be Friends Ghost Czech Pils is listed at Dry Drinker, a UK alcohol-free specialist, but was sold out when we checked in October 2026; the button on this page goes to that listing (an affiliate link). Specialist retailers carry a far wider AF range than supermarkets and ship nationwide.
