The story behind Bitburger Drive
Bitburger has brewed in Bitburg, in Germany’s Eifel region, since 1817 — a family-owned operation that grew into one of Germany’s biggest pilsner producers on the back of a famously crisp, hop-forward house style. Drive is its long-standing alcohol-free pilsner, and the name says everything about how Germany normalised the category: this is the beer for the person behind the wheel, decades before ‘sober curious’ was a phrase.
It’s a true 0.0 that keeps the Bitburger signature: pale, dry, cleanly bitter — one of the most successful NA pilsners in Europe and easy to find in UK supermarkets.
