The story behind Hero Hazy
Basqueland was founded in 2015 in Hernani, outside San Sebastián, by two American expats who wanted craft beer worthy of Basque cuisine — and became one of Spain’s most decorated breweries, taking Best Brewery at the Barcelona Beer Challenge two years running. Its alcohol-free line is called, simply, Hero.
Hero Hazy is the soft, juicy half of a rare pairing: Basqueland offers its AF IPA in both of modern craft’s dialects, and this is the pillowy, tropical one — built, like everything the brewery makes, to sit beside food.
