Hammerton, the London brewery with a cult line in indulgent stouts, took the boldest possible route into alcohol-free: not a cautious lager, but a peanut butter milk stout. CRUNCH AF is the 0.5% rendering of its beloved CRUNCH — roasted malt, chocolate and smooth peanut, dessert-like but balanced.

At around 60 kcal it delivers pudding-stout satisfaction at a fraction of the calories (and none of the morning after) of the imperial originals it echoes — the best kind of cheat code for dark-beer lovers cutting down.
