The story behind Pan IPAni
Trzech Kumpli — ‘three buddies’ — is one of the recognised names of Polish craft beer, and Pan IPAni (a pun worthy of translation: ‘Mr & Mrs’, IPA-fied) is its alcohol-free calling card: citrus and light tropical notes over a smooth malt base, bitter but never harsh, at 0.5%.
Poland’s craft scene deserves far more UK attention, and its AF output is a great way in — assured, modern styles without the import-novelty tax. Alongside MiastoLas’s true-zero wit, it makes the start of a proper Polish shelf.
Serve fridge-cold with pierogi if you’re committing, or anything fried if you’re not. The Trzech Kumpli hub has the brewery’s other AF trick — a nitro oatmeal stout.
