The story behind Bold AF

Queer Brewing, which described itself as the UK’s first queer- and trans-owned brewery, was founded in 2019 by beer writer Lily Waite-Marsden to put LGBTQ+ representation into an industry that had almost none. It brewed in its own East London home from 2024 and closed on 31 July 2026, so this beer may now be hard to find.

Bold AF is the alcohol-free statement of intent: citrus, stone fruit and pine over a crisp malt base at 0.5%, vegan like all the brewery’s beers, with a name that does the marketing single-handedly.
